Rhyming Isaiah, Chapter 12
On that day, these words, what it is you’ll say,
“O LORD to you I will give all my thanks.
For though against me, how your anger burned,
away is that direction where it’s turned,
and comfort, what it is you’ve given me.”
God, who is my salvation, certainly.
I will be unafraid and confident,
the LORD, for he’s my refuge and defense,
as my deliverer, he’s shown himself.
With joy, draw waters from salvation’s wells,
you shall, and on that day, these words, you’ll say,
“Give thanks unto the LORD, call on his name;
among the nations, his deeds, all, known, make;
that his name is exalted, this, proclaim.
“Sing to the LORD, your praises clamorous,
because of his achievement, glorious;
let this be known to men, the earth, throughout.
O royal Zion, sing and shout aloud,
for joy, for great is he who’s in your midst,
your God, the Holy One of Is’rael, is.”
