Rhyming Isaiah, Chapter 11

Up from the stump of Jesse will a shoot
come up, a branch shall grow up from his roots.
The spirit of the LORD shall, on him, light,
the spirit of both wisdom and insight,
the spirit of both counsel and of might,
the spirit of both knowledge and the fear,
the LORD, of, and where he’ll find his delight:
in, of the LORD, the fear. How things appear,
on that, his judgments never will rely;
his verdicts, he’ll, on hearsay, never base;
but he will judge the poor with righteousness,
the humble in the land, fair sentences,
what he shall pass; with the rod of his mouth,
the ruthless, he will strike; and with the breath
of his lips he shall kill the wicked dead.
The belt around his waist is righteousness,
the girdle ‘round his loins is faithfulness.
Then will the wolf be a guest of the lamb,
the leopard will lie down beside the kid,
the lion, young, together with the calf,
both eat, with a child, little, to them, tend.
The cow and bear together shall be friends,
so that their young will, down, together, lie.
The lion will eat hay, the ox, just like.
Above the cobra’s den the infant plays,
the child lays his hand on the adder’s lair,
My holy mountains, on, shall neither be
there, harm nor ruin, for how the earth will be,
the knowledge of the LORD, filled upwardly,
just as the waters cover o’er the sea.

On that day shall the root of Jesse stand,
to serve, a signal to the people, as;
of him the nations shall make inquiry,
and glorious, how will his dwelling be.

The LORD, he will extend, yet, on that day,
his hand a second time so to reclaim
the remnant of his people that remain
in Egypt and as well Assyria,
form Pathros and from Ethiopia,
from Elam, from Shinar, and from Hamath,
from islands of the sea where they were cast.

A signal for the nations, he will raise
and will assemble all Is’rael’s outcasts,
and gather all of Judah’s ones, dispersed,
retrieve from the four corners of the earth.
The jealousy of Ephraim shall depart,
and Judah’s enmity shall be, off, cut;
of Judah, Ephraim won’t feel jealousy,
towards Ephraim, Judah, no hostility.
But they will swoop down on the Philistines’,
their western flanks, and people of the east,
they’ll jointly plunder them entirely.

‘Gainst Edom, Moab, their hand, threatening,
the Ammonites, subject to them, will be.
The LORD, the tongue of the Egyptian sea,
is what he will destroy entirety;
o’er the Euphrates, he will waive his hand,
and with the power of his scorching wind,
he will divide it into seven streams,
so that it may be crossed upon one’s feet.
A highway from Assyria, there’ll be,
the people’s remnant in captivity,
for them, just like the one, for Is’rael made,
when, up from Egypt, back, was how they came.
