Rhyming Isaiah, Chapter 34.4
All of the host of heaven rots away,
the heavens will be rolled up like a scroll,
they’ll fade away, all heaven’s hosts arrayed,
just like leaves wither on the vine and fall,
or, dry upon the fig tree, the fruit will.
Rhyming Isaiah, Chapter 34.4
All of the host of heaven rots away,
the heavens will be rolled up like a scroll,
they’ll fade away, all heaven’s hosts arrayed,
just like leaves wither on the vine and fall,
or, dry upon the fig tree, the fruit will.
Rhyming Isaiah, Chapter 33
Woe, you destroyer, who’s not been destroyed,
you traitor who has never been betrayed!
Whenever, to destroy, that time, you cease,
it’s then when you, yourself, destroyed, will be,
and when it is that you no more betray,
then you will be betrayed that very day.
O LORD, be gracious to us; how we wait
for you. Please, every morning be our arm,
and our salvation when our troubles come.
At tumult’s sound is when the peoples fled;
the nations scatter when you upward stand.
They strip like locusts, spoil, they gather in,
like locusts swarm, how they, on them, descend.
The LORD’s exalted, he on high who dwells;
with righteousness and justice he has filled
up Zion, of your times, how he will be
to you, the source of your stability,
abundance of salvation, knowledge, pure,
and wisdom, how it’s Zion’s treasure sure,
the source of wisdom: of the LORD, the fear.
Now listen how they cry out in the streets,
the valiant, and envoys, those of peace,
it’s bitterly the way they’re said to weep.
The highways are deserted, how they’ve quit
the road, the travelers. The covenants
have all been broken and the treaties’ terms
are disregarded. All the country mourns,
and languishes, the land; how Lebanon,
with shame, it withers. Sharon has become
just like a wasteland; Carmel and Bashan
have, from their leaves, completely been stripped down.
“Now,” says the LORD, “the time when, rise, I will.
Now I shall rise and upwards draw myself.
Conceive, you, chaff, and stubble, you bring forth;
a fire that will consume you is your breath.
The peoples will be burned as if to lime,
like thorns cut down, they’re burned up in the fire.”
Hear, you who are, away, far, what I’ve done,
and you who are nearby, acknowledgment
give to my might. The sinners are afraid,
in Zion; trembling has, the godless, seized:
“Who ‘mongst us here can live with, that devours,
the fire? Who can, the everlasting fire
survive?” The one who acts with righteousness
and speaks uprightly, those who are oppressed,
the gain derived from them, what they despise,
it’s those who always wave away the bribe
instead of taking it. Who stopped their ears
when news of bloodshed, spoken, is, them, near,
and shut their eyes, on evil, they ne’er peer,
it’s on the heights, the place where they will live;
their fortress is a stronghold in the cliffs;
their food will be supplied and it’s assured,
their water source will never be disturbed.
Your eyes will see the king, his beauty, in,
that stretches far away, they’ll see a land.
You’ll call to mind the thing that you once feared:
“Where is the one who counted and who weighed
the tribute? Where’s the one, the count, he made,
of all the treasure, what we had to pay?”
The people who you will no longer see,
the ones who always, insolent, will be,
the ones who you can’t understand their speech,
their language sounds like senseless stammering.
On Zion, look, the city of our feasts!
Upon Jerusalem, let your eyes rest,
a home that is secure, just like a tent,
immovable, whose pegs will ne’er relent,
whose ropes are never severed nor are split.
But there, the LORD, in majesty will be
for us a place of rivers, broad, and streams
where no majestic galley ship can pass,
no rowing ships with sails spread from their masts.
For how the LORD is, o’er his people, judge,
the LORD, he is our king, and he’ll save us,
the LORD is our lawgiver from above.
It’s obvious your rigging’s hanging loose,
and in its place, firm, it can’t hold the mast,
or sails, against the wind’s pull, hold them fast.
Then, of the spoil, the blind will have their share,
and even will the lame, some pillage, bear.
Nobody living there, say, ever will,
“I’m sick”; the people, in that place, who dwell,
they’ll be forgiven, all their sins and guilt.
Rhyming Isaiah, Chapter 32
In righteousness, see, how a king will reign,
and princes rule with justice just the same.
Each will be like a shelter from the wind
and will be like a refuge from the rain,
like running streams of water on dry ground,
like a great rock that’s each day giving shade
upon it, dry and desolate, the land.
Those ones possessing sight, they won’t be closed,
their eyes, and neither will the ears of those
who listen, they will hear and they will know.
The flighty will be wise and capable,
of stutterers, both clear and audible,
will be the speech. The fool no more is deemed
among the class of the nobility,
nor will the villain, held in honor, be.
For foolishly the ways that fools will speak.
Their hearts are set on ways of villainary
and in their conduct is ungodliness.
The LORD, they speak perversely, him, against,
ignore the hungry with the food they lack,
and, to the thirsty, they refuse all drink.
The villains’ tactics all are villainous,
and all the crimes they plan are infamous,
to bring the poor to ruin with their lies,
and to the needy, justice, they deny.
But those who’re gifted with a noble mind,
they’re noble, all the things that that they design.
Rise up you women, you who are at ease,
complacent daughters listen to my speech.
Within a year and then a couple days,
you carefree women, then, when you will quake.
Then it will fail, the harvesting of grapes,
the gathering of fruit fore’er delayed.
Now tremble women you who are at ease,
be terrified when you, complacent, feel.
Strip down and, bare, yourselves, how you should make,
and sackcloth you should wrap around your waists.
In mourning beat your breasts for pleasant fields,
and for the fruitful vine, desire, you’ll feel,
my people’s soil is overgrown with weeds.
Mourn for the houses where joy is extant
inside the city that is jubilant.
For how the palace will forsaken be.
Deserted is the city and her streets.
They’re barren, Ophel, and as well The Keep
(it’s Zion’s Hill; a tower that is steep),
a place for donkeys wild, their frolicking,
for flocks, a pasture, find to eat, a thing.
Until a spirit is poured out on us
that’s from on high, then how the wilderness
will be transformed into a fruitful field,
an orchard that will, like a forest, seem.
Will justice dwell, then, in the wilderness
and in the fruitful field is righteousness.
How righteousness has an effect? It’s peace,
and how uprightness brings security,
both quietness and trust eternally.
In habitations, peaceful, they’d abide,
my people will, their peaceful houses, find.
And should the forest ever be, down, mowed,
and if the city’s utterly laid low,
it’s happiness you’ll have if this you know,
that where there’s water you can freely sow
and let the ox and donkey freely roam.
French Chess Proverb Poem
A game for people, hearted, kind-, to play:
the proverb, French, from chess, says stay away.
I’ve never felt so passionately about anything before as I do about The Offer.
I believe it includes important, subversive ideas that need to be disseminated into the marketplace. I am seeking to fill controlling Advisory Board positions for Real Advisers with three women and two men. I’ve already invited about 20 of my closest friends and colleagues and I’m publishing a general invitation here. If you are interested in discussing this further, this is available only to individual accredited investors who are interested in serving on the advisory board of a woman-led investment adviser registered in Texas. If so, you will have the opportunity to purchase one half of a percent of Real Advisers for $50,000 ($10 million initial valuation). Contact information is on this website.
Rhyming Ecclesiastes 5.19
To all whom God gives both possessions, wealth,
likewise and whom he has enabled well
to find enjoyment, to accept their lot
in all their toils, this is the gift of God.
The Unknown Unknowns of Securities Law
The Offer (Expanded Version)
A blessing or a curse, from time to time,
who’s rich is what the universe decides.
You’re blessed if you, enjoyment, have, with life,
and in your earthly toil, fulfillment, find.
The Offer is The Task for you to write.
I’ll pay your rate for five hours without risk,
these questions, three, yourself, that you should ask
so you will know how to enjoy your wealth
(transparent honesty will serve you well):
Who are you? What are your desires, for sure?
Describe how is it that you best can serve?
Write down your answers on some pages, few
and if you make The Wager, our year’s queue,
investment planning, you will enter in.
The Task and all your thoughts, we’ll help expand.
Throughout that time our team will work with you
to bring, the things you wrote, a new light, to.
Those people, poor or rich, who still enjoy,
the wealth they have, with wisdom, they deploy.
They may be clients, but for sure, are friends,
the simple truths that they all understand:
how they will every day, their blessings, count.
To heaven they give credit with a shout.
But others whom they love live in despair.
Our counsel can work to lay problems bare.
If you would know the contents of my thoughts,
The Wager that you make won’t risk a lot.
The price has several zeros by the dot,
but money is, a hurdle to this, not.
If you’re my friend, I’ll make a guarantee,
I’ll give you my five hours of talk for free.
Our rates, if yours is higher, much, by far,
our budget, marketing, won’t reach the stars,
but this, the way, The Wager, we will make,
when we at present can’t pay such a rate.
Your favorite charity, if you’re Bill Gates,
I’ll donate cash, five times my hourly rate.
If Bill would know the contents of my thoughts,
then he decides the number of the naughts.
The Offer
A blessing or a curse, which one is which?
The universe determines who is rich.
The blessing: both possessing and enjoying it.
I’ll pay your rate for five hours to do this:
These questions, three, that you should ask yourself
so you will know how to enjoy your wealth:
Who are you? What are your desires, for sure?
Describe how is it that you best can serve?
If you would know the contents of my thoughts,
the price has zeros, five, left of the dot.
If you’re my friend, I’ll make a guarantee,
I’ll give you my five hours of talk for free.
Your favorite charity, if you’re Bill Gates,
I’ll donate cash, five times my hourly rate.
If Bill would know the contents of my thoughts,
then he decides the number of the naughts.
