Sonnet #1 I saw you and my wish, at once, fulfilled. My fantasy became my waking life. That fracture, I don’t want it to be healed. I touched you and I gazed into your eyes. A cast, revolving, of identities, in my unconscious life, I recognize. One often will reject reality; in fantasy, another would decide. I wouldn’t use it only to seduce, one whispered word that’s turned into a lie. If I would cleave to you, let that be true, all former loves, away, I let them die. To wonder, only, I am satisfied, unless toward me you would turn your eyes.
