The Offer (Expanded Version)

A blessing or a curse, from time to time,

who’s rich is what the universe decides.

You’re blessed if you, enjoyment, have, with life,

and in your earthly toil, fulfillment, find.

The Offer is The Task for you to write.

I’ll pay your rate for five hours without risk,

these questions, three, yourself, that you should ask

so you will know how to enjoy your wealth

(transparent honesty will serve you well):

Who are you? What are your desires, for sure?

Describe how is it that you best can serve?

Write down your answers on some pages, few

and if you make The Wager, our year’s queue,

investment planning, you will enter in.

The Task and all your thoughts, we’ll help expand.

Throughout that time our team will work with you

to bring, the things you wrote, a new light, to.

Those people, poor or rich, who still enjoy,

the wealth they have, with wisdom, they deploy.

They may be clients, but for sure, are friends,

the simple truths that they all understand:

how they will every day, their blessings, count.

To heaven they give credit with a shout.

But others whom they love live in despair.

Our counsel can work to lay problems bare.

If you would know the contents of my thoughts,

The Wager that you make won’t risk a lot.

The price has several zeros by the dot,

but money is, a hurdle to this, not.

If you’re my friend, I’ll make a guarantee,

I’ll give you my five hours of talk for free.

Our rates, if yours is higher, much, by far,

our budget, marketing, won’t reach the stars,

but this, the way, The Wager, we will make,

when we at present can’t pay such a rate.

Your favorite charity, if you’re Bill Gates,

I’ll donate cash, five times my hourly rate.
