Rhyming Isaiah, Chapter 31 Who go to Egypt, down, for help, to those, and, on their horses, who rely, this woe. In chariots, security, they find, because of their great number, who rely on horsemen since their strength has been combined, but, to the Holy One, they do not look, of Is’rael, from the LORD, nor guidance, seek! Yet how he, in his wisdom, too, can bring disaster and he won’t, his threatenings, turn back, but he, the house, will rise against, of evildoers, and those who assist those who work to, iniquity, produce. Are human, the Egyptians, and not God; are flesh, their horses, and are, spirit, not. His hand, the LORD’s, when, stretch it out, he will, the helper, stumble, will, and the one helped will fall, and they’ll, together perish, all. The LORD has said these words to me, for thus: Just as a lion or a lion’s cub growls o’er its prey, and they’re called out in force, the shepherds are, against it, in their scores-- it isn’t, by their shouting, terrified, nor, with the noise they make, preoccupied-- so will the LORD of hosts come down to fight upon Mount Zion, and upon its heights. The LORD of hosts, like hov’ring birds that fly shall shield Jerusalem to, it, protect, he’ll spare it and he’ll also rescue it. Turn back to him, the one whom you betrayed, you Israelites. For you will, on that day, all of your idols, them, you’ll throw away, the ones of silver and of gold, assayed, which sinfully, for you, your hands had made. “Then the Assyrian shall, by the sword, fall, but it wasn’t by a mortal forged; and, from that sword, away, he’ll flee, not toward, and his young men, to labor, will be forced. His rock, in terror, it will pass away, and officers, his, from his standard, stray, in panic they desert him,” says the LORD, whose fire, in Zion, there, where he, it, placed, and in Jerusalem, his burning forge.
